The music of the Romantic era - including works by Chopin, Mendelssohn and Brahms - has moved audiences for nearly two centuries.
In Romantics, some of the era’s most beloved piano music is performed live by award-winning pianist Samuel Eriksson, as professional ballet dancers transform every note, pause and crescendo into movement.
This is not a traditional piano concert or a ballet, but an intimate encounter between live music and dance.

Five dancers. One pianist. One stage.
Experience the precision, expression and physicality of professional ballet at close range. Each dancer brings their own interpretation and presence to the music and choreography, making every performance distinctly their own.
For one hour, step away from the everyday and simply experience the music, movement and atmosphere unfolding on stage.
The choreography is created by dance artist, choreographer Anu Sistonen, whose works are characterized by strong musicality and a delicate movement language. The music is exquisitely interpreted by pianist Samuel Eriksson, winner of the Tampere National Piano Competition (2025).
On the stage five professionals in contemporary ballet, Vilhelm Bjersér, César Dugnani, Suvi Honkanen, Pinja Intke, and Liza Vorontsova, create an elaborate tapestry of movement and enrich the whole with their unique personalities. Pinja Kokkonen’s lighting design deepens the work’s visual atmosphere.
